How do I pair my devices?

Both devices need to sign in with the same Oriel account. Open Oriel on both your camera device and your viewer device, log in with the same email address, and they will automatically discover each other.

Do I need two devices?

Yes. Oriel turns one device into a security camera and another into a viewer. The camera device stays at the location you want to monitor, while you watch the live feed from your viewer device.

Where are my recordings stored?

Recordings are stored locally on your camera device by default. You can optionally enable cloud backup via Cloudflare R2, which encrypts and stores recordings in your personal cloud storage. You control whether cloud backup is enabled.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your Oriel subscription, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, find Oriel, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app by going to Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
