Security should not be a luxury.

Checking on your home should be calm, easy to understand, and affordable. A spare iPhone can do the job without another piece of hardware.

Oriel includes live view, motion alerts, and event playback in the free version. You can check in and review what happened without subscribing.

New paid features will add options. Live view, motion alerts, event playback, and camera connections will stay free.

The Oriel Promise

Why We Built It This Way

Oriel helps your devices find each other. When they can connect directly, live video travels between them; on other networks, an encrypted relay may carry it.

Motion and person detection run on the camera device. The app does not send video frames to a server for analysis.

Oriel is built by an independent developer. The project has no investors and does not sell user data.
